Frequently asked questions

What happens if I hit a quota?
AI quotas reset on the first of each month. If you hit a quota mid-month, that specific feature pauses until the next reset — or until you upgrade. Your campaign content and existing data are never affected by a quota hit.
Do my players need to pay?
No. Player accounts are always free. As a DM, you invite players via a share link and they create a free account to join your campaign. Player invites are unlimited on every tier — including the free one.
Can I switch tiers anytime?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle, so you keep what you paid for. Cancellations stop future billing; you retain access through the end of the current period.
What if my campaign data exceeds my tier's storage?
You'll get notified before you hit the cap. New uploads pause until you free up space or upgrade. Existing content stays fully accessible regardless — Loomweaver never deletes your data because of a storage limit.
What AI models does Loomweaver use?
Loomweaver uses Google's Gemini models for all AI features. Models are picked per task — fast, cheap models for quick lookups; bigger, smarter models for creative generation. You don't manage any of this.
Where is my data stored?
On Cloudflare's global infrastructure. Your campaign data lives in a dedicated database that only you can access. Player data is scoped to each campaign — players only see what you've invited them to. See the Privacy Policy for the full data story.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, plus the regional payment methods supported by our payments partner Polar. Polar handles billing, sales tax, and VAT compliance on our behalf.
