AI quotas reset on the first of each month. If you hit a quota mid-month, that specific feature pauses until the next reset, or until you upgrade. Cloud transcription minutes work the same way. On-device transcription has no monthly limit; switch to it in Settings > AI > Transcription. Your campaign content and existing data are never affected by a quota hit.

No. Player accounts are always free. As a DM, you invite players via a share link and they create a free account to join your campaign. Player invites are unlimited on every tier — including the free one.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle, so you keep what you paid for. Cancellations stop future billing; you retain access through the end of the current period.

You'll get notified before you hit the cap. New uploads pause until you free up space or upgrade. Existing content stays fully accessible regardless — Loomweaver never deletes your data because of a storage limit.

Standard images run the Z-Image Turbo model on Replicate. Premium images and text features use Google's Gemini models, picked per task: fast, cheap models for quick lookups and bigger models for creative generation. When Gemini is unavailable, text features can fall back to Anthropic's Claude models. Cloud transcription runs OpenAI's open-source Whisper model on Cloudflare Workers AI. On-device transcription runs the same Whisper model inside your browser, so nothing is sent to an AI service. You don't manage any of this.

On Cloudflare's global infrastructure. Your campaign data lives in a dedicated database that only you can access. Player data is scoped to each campaign — players only see what you've invited them to. See the Privacy Policy for the full data story.

Audio recordings are kept for 12 months from the recording date, then removed automatically. Transcripts, notes and recaps stay with your campaign for as long as your account exists. About 30 days before a recording's audio is removed, the account that made it (the DM, or the player who recorded their own track) gets an email with download links, and the recording shows the same notice in the app, so you can keep a copy.
